Quick and Efficient Yoga Class for Healthier Posture

Congratulations, you get EXTRA BONUS POINTS for making it to the end of this mini-course!  I can't thank you enough for your interest and commitment.  As a thank you, I want you have access to my quick and efficient yoga class for healthier posture!  This class puts everything you have learned (and a little more) into one 12 minute class.

Below is a list of the lessons you learned building up to this class.  Feel free to review them before or after taking the class, and feel free to write to let me know what you thought of the course, and what you'd like to see next!

Here's what you've learned about posture
1) We need to practice and improve thoracic extension

Video 1 - How to stand up straight.
Video 2 - Where to start - learn thoracic extension.

2) We need to stretch the chest and lats, and strengthen the external rotators of the shoulders

Video 3 - Don't just stick your chest out - externally rotate your shoulders!
Video 4 - A humbling exercise for strengthening external rotation of the shoulder!

3) We need to learn and practice a posterior tilt of the shoulder blade to correct the strength imbalance between the upper (overactive/tight) and lower fibers (underactive and weak) of the traps.

Video 5 - learning the posterior tilt of the shoulder blade with the 'Mayo-Raise'
Video 6 - The Y-Press integration exercise to bring it all together!

Thanks for watching and be sure to share with your friends and desk mates who have achy necks and shoulders!

P.S. Feel free to join the Low Back Pain Movement and Education group here and like my facebook page for the full buffet experience!
